Mangum Manor, Forest West, and Oak Forest West are located just across White Oak Bayou from Oak Forest West and Garden Oaks. Although the area has lagged behind Oak Forest East and Garden Oaks in pace of redevelopment, it has seen a surge of interest from young professionals recently.
