Timbergrove / Lazybrook Market Update – September 2013

The extended boom in Timbergrove and Lazybrook continued into September 2013.  Home prices rose 23% to $365,164. That's up for the 13th consecutive month. This boom does not appear to be subsiding.  There is currently only 1 month of available inventory.   With so few homes to choose from, prices will more than likely continue to move up.  It is certainly a good time to live in Timbergrove.

Washington Corridor Market Update – September 2013 SALES ACTIVITY Homes in Timbergrove continue to sell and they continue to sell quickly.  There were 17 total sales in the month of September in Timbergrove / Lazybrook. That's up 17% from September 2012. Of the homes sold in September 2013, half were under contract in 11 days or less.

For the 12 month period ending in September 2013, prices rose to $365,164 for Timbergrove / Lazybrook. That's up 23% from the same period ending in September 2012.6215 Wynnwood Ln

Located just west of Houston Heights, Timbergrove and Lazybrook are two of the hottest neighborhoods for young families in Houston’s Inner Loop.  Downtown Houston and the Uptown/Galleria area are a short drive away.  Furthermore, Timbergrove and Lazybrook are conveniently located close to restaurants and bars in Houston Heights, the Uptown/Galleria area, and the Washington/Rice Military Corridor.  For prospective buyers that are seeking close proximity to Houston’s great parks, Timbergrove and Lazybrook is home to 11th street Park, Jaycee Park, and the White Oak bayou bike trail.  Memorial Park and its great jogging trail is also nearby.  Timbergrove and Lazybrook is also home to a couple of our agents.
